Paper Prices to Increase Again in October

Additional paper price increases are expected next month after receiving notification from the mills of prices increases of 8-10%.  The soaring cost of pulp has been cited as the driving force behind the fourth increase already this year.  In addition, all woodfree coated and uncoated grades in reels, sheets, and cut sizes, as well as office papers and a number of other board and specialty products are being affected.

QRG first reported the impact of paper cost increase in our June 25, 2018 blog article titled, "Alert – Paper Supply Down. Prices Up."
