QRG is proud to have been an in-kind and financial sponsor of Spare Key's 2019 Groove Gala. TitleSmart, Groove Gala Title Sponsor, is a QRG partner. This year's event raised tens of thousands of dollars for families. QRG has sponsored, participated, and volunteered at this and other Spare Key events like the 5K for multiple years.
Spare Key's motto, "No matter the illness. No matter the injury. No matter the income. We help families Bounce and Not Break," has been their guiding force from the first mortgage the charity was able to make on behalf of a family in need. Since 1997, Spare Key's mission has been to provide assistance to more than 3,500 families in crisis with critically ill or seriously injured family members through housing grant payment assistance totaling more than $3.5 million, engaged resource referral and advocacy.
Spare Key's new technology platform Help Me Bounce combines crowdfunding with direct financial support to help leverage social media to raise more funds to support a family with their mortgage payment. Additionally, the Help Me Bounce Program provides a real-time blogging feature for families that allows them to share the progress of their family member's medical situation with their friends and family. This new platform is allowing Spare Key to move from helping hundreds of families with hundreds of thousands of dollars to helping tens of thousands of families with millions of dollars. Funds from this year's gala have secured this platform and set the Help Me Bounce Program on the path towards success.
